ok ok ok i had to take forever to think about it, but i vote for them being purebloods. because their parents definitely love them unconditionally, and deep down in their subconscious they can feel like their dad would love them if they were the perfect little pureblood du ponts. or if they could just KICK THEIR ASSES AT QUODPOT OR CHESS.
